Danny Holla released by the Albion
Disappointing news for those of us who liked shouting HOLLLLLLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA every time Danny Holla was involved for the Albion (which was admittedly not much) as the Dutch midfielder has been released a year early.
Brighton handed most boring EFL Cup draw imaginable
Good luck selling this one Paul Barber. Brighton and Hove Albion have been handed the most mind numbingly boring third round tie in the EFL Cup imaginable in Reading at home. It's so dull we haven't even bothered to look up the date of it.
Match Review - Oxford United 2-4 Brighton
Chris Hughton made 11 changes for the EFL Cup second round game at Oxford United but that mattered not as the Albion ran out 4-2 winners to move into round three and a possible meeting with one of the Premier League big boys. And the best news? Another Elvis goal.
Match Preview - Oxford United v Brighton
The second round of the EFL Cup has thrown up a new competitve ground for the Albion, with our first ever visit to the Kassam Stadium. We haven't faced Oxford United since before Diana & Charles got divorced, and for those making the journey there is the chance to see ELVIS!
Match Review - Reading 2-2 Brighton
A thoroughly entertaining game at Reading saw the Albion remain unbeaten so far this season after a 2-2. Slightly concerning though was Dale Stephens absence - has the transferitis that can only be cured by a transfer to Burnley come back again?
Match Preview - Reading v Brighton
Brighton head back out on the road with the short trip to the Madjeski Stadium. Or have we misjudged the distance after the Biscuitment could only bring a couple of hundred supporters with them to the Amex for their visit last season?
Match Review - Brighton 3-0 Rotherham United
Another home game, another 3-0 win. This time a pretty poor Rotherham United side was put away though goals from Anthony Knockaert, FFS Murray and Tomer Hemed. The win was so easy, the East Stand even treated us to a late light show.
Match Preview - Brighton v Rotherham United
Brighton are being tipped by most pundits to have another title at promotion and have begun the season unbeaten. Rotherham are being tipped by most pundits for relegation and have lost both their league games so far. Think we all know what happens next...
Match Review - Brighton 3-0 Nottingham Forest
The first league game of the season at The Amex couldn't have gone much better as Brighton ran out convincing 3-0 winners over Nottingham Forest. Anthony Knockaert added some more million to his transfer value with a goal and there was a brace from FFS Murray.
Match Preview - Brighton v Nottingham Forest
League game number two is under The Amex lights and will be beamed into homes up and down the country. Which is just as well as the visit of Nottingham Forest looks like being a total cock up in terms of trains to the stadium thanks to our mates at the ever efficient Southern Rail.
