The Amex Loan Strikers
Chuba Akpoms arrival made him the 10th loan striker to sign for the Albion in the six seasons since the Amex opened, making it seem like we are on a quest to sign every striker to have played professional football in England. We look back at the good, the bad and the Obika.
***VOTE NOW*** Player of the Month - March 2017
The international break meant Brighton played just four times in March with two wins and two defeats. There were injuries aplenty throughout the month, particularly in defence, which means a number of new faces make the shortlist for the Player of the Month award.
Free coach travel to Norwich away
In a quite brilliant gesture from the club, the Albion are offering 1000 supporters the chance to take up free coach travel to the away game at Norwich City to say thank you for our support on the road this season and sorry for Sky cocking up so many fixtures. Nice touch.
Match Preview - The Leeds United v Brighton
Despite being one of the Championships outstanding basketcase clubs, Garry Monk has worked wonders at The Leeds United to have the Champions of Europe in the play off places. A tough Saturday evening (thanks Sky) awaits at Elland Road.
Albion Images - Rotherham United 0-2 Brighton
Well we are only a week late uploading these, but we somehow managed to take 15 photos from a great night at the New York Stadium as the Albion defeated bottom of the table Rotherham United 2-0 thanks to goals from Anthony Knockaert and Solly March.
Player of the Month - February 2017
Brighton slipped from top spot as they took only 11 points from a possible 21 in their worst month of the season so far. Despite the doom and gloom and talk of Seagulls choking, there were some stand out moments as one player took 50% of the vote to win...
Bruno signs new Brighton deal
He may be nearly old enough to qualify for a bus pass, but Bruno has signed a new deal with Brighton and Hove Albion. The club captain has been in immense form over the past two seasons and that is rewarded with a new deal running until the summer of 2018. Ole ole ole.
Match Preview - Brighton v Derby County
It is another Friday night game live on Sky as Derby County visit the Amex. Despite lying in 10th place in the division, a look through the Rams squad list is enough to have us worried, especially given Brighton's recent form.
Albion to introduce ID checks at away games
Planning on going to an away game anytime soon? Then remember to take some ID with you as in a move straight from North Korea, Brighton and Hove Albion have announced they are to start checking ID at away games to make sure you are in possession of your own ticket.
Match Preview - Rotherham United v Brighton
On paper, this looks like the perfect game from which to bounce back from the disappointment of back-to-back defeats. Rotherham sit bottom of the table with just four wins to their name. Except of course we have never so much as scored a goal at the New York Stadium.
Match Review - Nottingham Forest 3-0 Brighton
Well that didn't go as well as it could have done. Back-to-back defeats were inflicted on the Albion for the second time this season as Nottingham Forest ran out 3-0 winners in a frankly woeful game of football. Oh, and Shane Duffy is now out for six weeks. Brilliant.
Match Preview - Nottingham Forest v Brighton
Brighton look to bounce back from the disappointment of defeat to Newcastle with a trip to Nottingham Forest. We've had some great results at Forest down the years but perhaps most excitingly is the chance to sample it's award winning public transport system.
