The squad numbers for the 2016-17 season have been released with the big news being that Anthony Knockaert has moved from 27 to 11. In a predictable turn of events, a number of Albion fans ignored the clubs warnings to get"Knockaert 27" on the back of their new shirts.

At long last, the longest kit launch in the history of professional sport has been bought to a close with the Albon finally revealing the new home kit for the 2016-17 season. To celebrate, take our challenging Spot the Difference puzzle comparing the new effort with the old one.
Jake Forster-Caskey moves to Rotherham United
Another play moves out the exit door with England under 21 international midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey moving on a season long loan to Rotherham United. The lure of being able to meet the Chuckle Brothers after each home game was understandably to big to ignore.
Chris O'Grady joins Burton Albion on-loan
It looks as though Chris O'Grady has played his final game for Brighton and Hove Albion. The striker is out of contract at the end of the season and has tied up a season long loan with Championship newcomers Burton Albion.
250 to drink in Seven Stars Bar next season
Someone at the club has obviously lost their mind. Brighton and Hove Albion will be charging 250 for supporters to guarantee a space in Seven Stars Sports Bar next season, for which you get a free programme and free pool table. 250!

Brighton to wear black away kit for 2016/17
Brighton and Hove Albion will wear a black away kit for the first time in over a decade. There is no need to get too excited though - the new uniform is simply the reverse of last seasons away kit being black with a volt trim. Clearly a lot of thought went into that from Nike.
