The League 1 Champions kicked their first ball in anger during pre-season with their now traditional trip to Leylands Park to face Burgess Hill Town Football Club.

Fielding a different XI for each half, Gus Poyet's men strolled to an easy 3-0 victory with Goals from Barnes, Noone and Will Hoskins.
