A 0-0 draw at Birmingham City ended the hosts five game winning streak and extended the Albion's winless run to eight games. Craig Mackail-Smith missed a glorious chance to secure what would have been a superb three points for Gus Poyet's side but at the end of the day it was the defences who came out having dominated in a pretty forgettable afternoon in the second city
