The toughest looking away assignment so far saw Gus Poyet's Brighton and Hove Albion side travel to our old foes from last season, Southampton. While the Albion have at times struggled to adapt to the Championship, Nigel Adkins side have taken to it like a duck to water and lead the table. The 3-0 defeat was therefore not entirely surprising as a Rickie Lambert hat-trick and the dismissal of Mauricio Taricco ensured the Saints continued their remarkable run of home form which now stretches to 20 games undefeated
