Coventry arrived at The Amex sitting 23rd in the Championship form table with Brighton just two places higher. A scrappy affair was to be expected then and it was exactly what the 19,000 crowd got as an own goal and a first for the club from Romain Vincelot secured a 2-1 win with Gus Poyet's side hanging on desparately at the end for three very welcome points
