It was a familiar away day story for Brighton and Hove Albion in their longest trip of the season as they went down 1-0 at Middlesbrough. A mistake from Casper Ankergren resulted in the only goal of the game for Scott McDonald as the Seagulls again failed to really test a goalkeeper on their travels sending their superb away following of 679 home from Teeside with nothing to show for their efforts on a 600 miles plus round trip
