New Years Ever 2011 was yet another painful day on the road for Brighton and Hove Albion. Travelling to bottom of the table Coventry gave hope to the Seagulls support that they might see a first goal in four matches as well as a first real effort on target away from home since Craig Mackail-Smith's winner at Derby. As it was, Gary McSheffrey was allowed to run uncallenged for sixty yards before beating Casper Ankergren at his near post from distance before Lukas Jutkiewicz doubled the lead in the second half to give the Sky Blues a 2-0 win at the Ricoh Arena
