The magic of the FA Cup was alive and well at The Amex for the visit of Blue Square Premier leaders Wrexham. Gus Poyet's usual respect of lower league sides in the cup continued as he rested several key players and handed out debuts to a number of the development squad which by the end of the game resulted in just five recognised first team regulars on the pitch come the end of the game. Jake Forster-Caskey had given the Albion the lead when he made it two goals in two starts before Adrian Cieslewicz equalised to secure a replay in ten days time at The Racecourse
