Mode
of Transport:
The Witham Mobile was used for this trip, with
a visit to Bournemouth beforehand so Witham could
visit Gemma, who attends Uni there. This gave
McCarthy and Kane the opportunity to explore Bournemouth. |
 |
Team:
Mr Wilkins again employed the 4-3-3 formation
that had worked so well in his first few games,
with a line-up of: Henderson, El Abd, Santos,
Lynch, Mayo; Fraser, Hammond, Carpenter; Cox,
Hart, Revell. |
 |
Kit:
Yeovil wore their home colours of green and white
hooped shirts, white shorts and white socks. Brighton
chose to wear their blue and white home shirts,
and combine these with the away shorts and stockings,
both of a blue persuasion. Wayne Henderson chose
what appeared to be a grey jersey on his return
to the team. |

Dean
Wilkins Attire:
Mr Wilkins again went for the training ground
look, this time combining a white standard issue
Errea training jacket with black trousers. |
 |
Weather:
A fine evening in Somerset, cool and good conditions. |
 |
Stadium
Rating:
Your standard new non-league style stadium. Four
identical stands, two with seating and two with
terracing, with no roof for the away end. A nice
stadium, if slightly basic. 7/10 |
 |
Food
Rating:
Neil Kane summed it up when he announced to the
waiting que that his hotdog was like a penis.
Despite this, McCarthy found it rather nutritional.
6/10 |
 |
Entertainment:
The closest thing to entertainment was Jake Robinson
breaking the goal during the subs half time warm
up, ensuring 'Farmer Giles' had to the fix it.
1/10 |
 |
Friendliness
of Locals:
The ticket office men were particularly friendly
in believing McCarthy and Kane were Under 16,
and the people we saw around the stadium tended
to be of a decent nature. 8/10 |
 |
Standard
of Local Females:
A distinct lack of women around the stadium was
a major let down, although we can only presume
they would have been inbreds anyway. 2/10 |
 |
Steward
Rating:
No troubles again with the
stewards, even allowing McCarthy and Kane to wear
Smirnoff Ice boxes on their heads. 8/10 |
 |
Flag
Attention:
Kane wore the flag as a biblical cloak, so minimal
attention was received. |
 |
Match
Report:
Another disappointing day on the road for the
Albion, as they were comprehensively beaten 2-0
by Yeovil. Marcus Stewart opened the scoring for
the home side, before former Albion loan player
Wayne Gray added a second in the second half.
The defeat should end Dean Wilkins chances of
getting the managers job on a permanent basis,
and the new manager will have a major job on his
hands if he is to keep the Seagulls from returning
to League Two |

Thought
of the Day:
Do people who have fake limbs attached get the
option of having some form of machinery instead
of an arm, for example a chainsaw. |
