Mode
of Transport:
It was the traditional trip through London, consisting
of a 4 for £25 travel save ticket on First
Capital Connect Services from Brighton to Bedford. |
 |
Team:
Mr Wilkins chose to name a 4-4-2 line up consisting
of: Kuipers, Whing, Elphick, Butters, Mayo; Cox,
Racon, Thomson, Westlake; Murray, Dixon. |
 |
Kit:
Luton performed in their home uniforms consisting
of white shirts, black shorts and white socks.
The visitors lined up in their alternative colours
of all yellow, while Michel Kuipers was once again
modeling the aqua and gold jersey alongside navy
blue shorts and socks. |

Dean
Wilkins Attire:
Mr Wilkins was once again booted and suited, coupled
with regulation trench coat. |
 |
Weather:
A fine day over Bedfordshire, consisting of warmth
and sun. |
 |
Stadium
Rating:
Kenilworth Road remains a Croc favourite due to
its standing as a proper football ground. Entering
the away end through a maze of small paths and
ultimately a turnstile that is effectively the
front room of a house, the scene is a compact
stand with a low roof. Opposite the main stand
is just an area consisting of executive boxes,
complimented by one large stand behind the other
goal. 6/10 |
 |
Food
Rating:
Both food kiosks had sold out of hotdogs, and
this resulted in pies being taken, which were
made of steak and kidney yet tasted of scrotum.

 |
Entertainment:
None was on offer. |
 |
Friendliness
of Locals:
Bearing in mind the locals had just been relegated,
we found them to be delightfuly pleasant, wishing
us luck should a miracle along the lines of Jesus
resurrection occur and we do make the play offs.

Standard
of Local Females:
No females of any real note were spotted. 1/10 |

Steward
Rating:
Awful. Although they allowed
us to stand, they were completely over the top
in the way they handled Clayton Cs ejection from
the ground and subsequent arrest, for the awful
crime of taking a can of beer into the stadium.

Flag
Attention:
We were unable to gauge the attention of the flag
as it is currently in Nottingham. Somewhere. |
 |
Match
Report:
Luton Town were relegated to League Two following
a 2-1 win for the Albion at Kenilworth Road. The
home side took the lead through Sam Parkin, but
this only succeeded to spur on the visitors as
they fought back immediately thanks to goals from
on-loan Ian Westlake and Glen Murray to end a
74 year winless streak in Bedfordshire and mathematically
keep their play off hopes alive. |
 |
Thought
of the Day:
A disappointing way for the first Crocs arrest
to occur with a caution for taking a can of beer
into the ground, as opposed to a bigger crime
such as indecent exposure, resisting arrest or
j walking. |
