Northampton Town- Tuesday 29/01/08

A Tuesday evening trip to Northampton is always a fine way to spend a January night. A disappointing run had seen only two league victories since the start of December, and the Albion were in danger of slipping away from play-off contenders to mid table nobodies. Optimism was ripe though, with £300,000 signing - the most the club had spent in 25 years - Glen Murray set to make his debut. We could only pray that handing that amount of money to Rochdale would not get us a player who was cobblers
