Swindon Town - Saturday 15/12/07

Financial trouble at the County Ground meant that there was a possibility that this could be Swindons last game. It was also the final away match before Christmas, and a combination of these two factors meant that the Crocs decided to attend this match in order to pay homage to the club that launched Glen Hoddles managerial career, and gave us such legendary players as Danny Invincible.

Withams confusion on Swindons infamous Magic Roundabout ensured we were late for our meet
The Crocs convoy is soon parked up though
Witham and Upton are happy to have arrived in Wiltshire
McCarthy looks like some sort of model in this pose with a lamp post

Witham somehow originally believed this to be a pub, despite the large amount of bicycles outside
A suggestion is made to cut across this grass behind the stadium in order to save time entering the arena

It soon proves to be a total error, as this grass is infact marsh land that leaves McCarthy with muddy shoes
Witham has a burger
McCarthys large hotdog is once again bigger than his face - although the lack of ketchup on offer was a major disappointment
This stand hosts away fans for big games. Today it was left unused
This stand is the newest at the stadium
The passionate Swindon Ultras were based behind this goal
Upton is happy to be in the stadium
As is Witham

While McCarthy is just delighted to bear an uncanny resemblance to Lee Peacock
The Arkells Stand roof structure was a joy to behold
This man did a fine, if unnecessary, job of cleaning the seats
The teams warm up ahead of the match
Ian Hart talks to some fans, probably telling them he has had better days
John Sullivan was wearing what can only be described as a pair of womens tights for the warm up
The floodlights were on and working to their full potential
Witham and McCarthy, complete with Doncaster Rovers Santa's hat, look forward to the game
Uptons hat featured these delightful flashing stars
The Rockin Robin entertains the fans before the game
This fan took the award for best head wear however, with this African style monkey hat
The teams emerge onto the pitch
The Swindon team go into their pre-game huddle
With just two minutes gone, Nicky Forster gives Brighton the lead
Michel Kuipers prepares to take a goal kick
Jake Robinson celebrates
Its 2-0 Brighton
The teams come off at the half time whistle
Upton cannot quite believe that Brighton are 2-0 up
The half time penalty shoot out takes place
This large women walks around the track, no doubt heading for the burger concession
Malcolm Stuart walks round the track, no doubt heading for the burger concession after treating someone
The game continues under the glorious light of the County Ground
Dean Hammond scores
The players celebrate the goal
15 minutes left and Brighton lead 3-0

Bas Savage awaits the ball forward
The final whistle blows
A fine 3-0 win to boost the play-off push
As the players thank the fans for their support on a day cold enough to shrivel a mans penis into nothing but a stump
