Mode
of Transport:
McCarthy and Jenkins drove from Cheltenham and
Brighton respectively. Rumble, having used all
his holiday up from work, somehow managed to
blag a business meeting in Norwich and thus had
to arrive early, ma |
 |
Team:
Gus sent out a 4-4-2 formation consisting of:
Smith, Whing, Tunnicliffe, Elphick, El-Abd;
Bennett, Dicker, Crofts, Cox; Murray, Dickinson |
 |
Kit:
Norwich were in their famous home uniforms of
yellow shirts, green shorts and yellow socks,
while the Albion appeared in their away kit of
red and black striped jerseys, black shorts and
red stockings. Graeme in goal went with the
white goalkeepers shirt alongside black shorts
and socks |

Poyet's Attire:
Mr Poyet was seen on the sidelines in standard
issue club tracksuit along with an unhumanly
white pair of shoes and a large jacket to fight
off the chilling Norfolk weather |
 |
Weather:
A crisp yet dry evening, which was a nice
surprise given the weather that has hit England
in recent days (see Cockermouth) |
 |
Stadium
Rating:
Carrow Road is probably up their as the nicest
ground in the division thanks to its combination
of the modern and the traditonal. Two tiered
stands are present behind both goals, while away
fans are housed in a large, single tiered effort
down one side of the pitch. The other side
contains a small main stand where Delia Smith
has no doubt had sex on many occasions. 8/10 |
 |
Food
Rating:
Being at Delia's club, the food was obviously of
a high standard. Jenkins thoroughly enjoyed his
hotdog, and vegetarians such as McCarthy were
met with an item that is unlikely to be beaten
this season - a cauliflower cheese pie. 8/10 |
 |
Entertainment:
A couple of mascots pratting about was as good
as it got. 1/10 |
 |
Friendliness
of Locals:
Very friendly. They were more than happy to
offer directions and talk in the pub, and this
lead to a generally pleasant atmosphere. 8/10 |
 |
Standard
of Local Females:
Despite the fact that they may have been
interbred, the women in Norwich were absolutely
fantastic and a pleasure to perve over. 8/10 |
 |
Steward
Rating:
Poor. Attempted to make fans
sit down and one steward even refused Upton
entrance to the top area of the stadium as he
did not have a relevant ticket. 3/10 |
 |
Flag
Attention:
The Crocs flag was stowed safely in McCarthy's
pocket due to our late arrival inside the
stadium and lack of hanging positions |
 |
Match
Report:
Another defensive horror show saw the Albion
reward the loyal band of 600 traveling fans with
a 4-1 defeat against Norwich. Comedy defending
that wouldn't look out of place at a circus saw
the Seagulls go into half time 2-0 down, but a
James Tunnicliffe goal pulled it back to 2-1.
Any hopes of a comeback were extinguished almost
immediately as Tommy Elphick headed in an own
goal and Norwich added one of their own to
ensure it was another wasted day for the
traveling support |
