North Stand Chat Six-a-Side Tournament 2009

The annual North Stand Chat Tournament is designed to help raise money for the Robert Eaton Memorial Fund. Following two unsuccessful previous campaigns, the Croc management committee had strengthened the team for this years tournament. Despite this, the Crocs were not even considered likely to get out of their group, let alone be challenging for honors come the end of the day

Tom Cutting was back in Brighton, back in Crocs colours and back to wearing gay headbands

Kane skips past Jenkins before sliding the ball past Oaf to net in our second group game, a 3-1 win over Sporting Bad Haircuts

The 2009 North Stand Chat Final gets underway - Crocs v Exiles

Kane sees his penalty strike the bar and go over

Exiles keeper Simon Huffer pulls off a stop to deny Lloyd in the shoot out

The teams are locked at 3-3 at the end of regular penalties. McCarthy steps up to net the first sudden death penalty

He then saves the following Exiles kick to give the Crocs their first ever NSC Title

Mendoza crowns the Crocs as the third ever NSC Champions
