WeAreBrighton.com Fantasy Championship 2011/12 - Halfway Update

We're halfway through the the Championship season and Southampton still sit atop of the table - just. Bristol City, Nottingham Forest, Leicester, Hull and Portsmouth all have new men at the helm and there are only 15 points separating the first relegation spot with the final play-off spot.

It's as you were at top spot in our Fantasy League with Arthur Hill and his team Kazenga <3 still leading the way as they were back in our first quarter update but there are only three points in it between the top trio with Paul Wilson and Daniel Bulbeck breathing down the leaders neck with their sides Wilson and Son and another LuaLua themed team, Represnting Kazenga. The final Champions League place features Pete Forrest from Petes XI while westies 11 managed by David West and Goldstone Town lead by Geoff Morley sit nicely in the Europa League spots

We've done well to avoid a "Ken won't be happy" style joke as Deidre Barlow sits at the bottom of the pile with Rob Lloyd's side the only one not to have hit treble figures. Ben Cribb with Seagulls and Jake Caldecourt and Ginger United round off the bottom three although they are still 12 and 15 points clear of everybodies favourite Coronation Street character, with 188 points separating top to bottom

If you are not yet registered, then here's what you need to do.

Step One : Sign up via http://fantasy.football-league.co.uk/

Step Two: Choose your eleven players spending no more than £10 million, using either a 5-3-2 formation or a 4-4-2. You cannot pick more than three players from one team, so no just selecting the Seagulls starting XI!

Step Three: Choose your team name and select which side you support

Step Four : Select the "Private Leagues" link from the right of the page, then scroll down to "Join existing leagues" and enter 6043 into the League Pin box. Click "Find league" which will take you to the WeAreBrighton Private League, and then select "Join this League" from the box above the current league table, after which we will accept your application when it comes through
