Sign up to FanHub today to be rewarded for your loyalty to Brighton

FanHub is the app which is aiming to change the face of what it means to be a football fan by rewarding your loyalty as Brighton supporter. It is now less than a month away from launch – and you can sign up to be one of the first to access it.

If you have ever wondered just how much time and dedication you put into being an Albion supporter, then this is the app that can tell you.

FanHub will track the miles you have travelled, the wins (and defeats) you have witnessed and the grounds you have visited as a Brighton fan.

“Strava for football fans,” is how it was sold to WAB and as geeks for that sort of thing, it goes without saying that we were onboard immediately.

Every person who signs up for FanHub is given a FanScore based on the actions they take. This is not just restricted to following the Albion around the country – which is just as well seeing as it now likes like we will not be allowed back into stadiums before the end of the 2020-21 season.

Correctly guess the Brighton starting line up and you will receive points (easier said than done with Graham Potter in charge, obviously).

Read a piece of content about the Albion and you will receive points. Interact with other supporters and you will receive points. Predict a final score and you will receive points, even if you have too high expectations for Potter’s liking.

Your FanScore will allow you to see how your loyalty compares to fellow Seagulls supporters and friends who follow other clubs through league tables. The cumulative FanScores of supporters of every club are then added together to keep track of who the most loyal fans in the country are.

And then comes the really clever bit – FanHub will reward the most dedicated Brighton fans for their loyalty. Those who top the loyalty leader boards will find themselves earning prizes and recognition for their dedication to their club.

The FanHub mission statement reads: ““The beautiful game has lost its heart – football without fans is nothing and yet they receive nothing in return.”

“By attending games, creating and consuming content, and engaging with other fans we are putting a lot of time and passion into something that does not give us the reward we deserve.”

“By creating a fan-centric app we will empower fans and change the dynamic of the modern game. By completing actions of loyalty within the app, fans will earn a FanScore.”

“This score will see them receive recognition across the football leagues, placing them on a leader board against other fans. This will also see them rewarded for their performance like they deserve, putting the power back in the hands of football’s most important stakeholder.”

FanHub is set to launch on December 1st 2020. Please use this link to gain early access to the app and help us prove that Brighton fans are among the most loyal in the country.
