When speaking of tradition, pride and teamwork, there are few teams which can rival Brighton. Originally founded in 1901, we have seen countless players come and go over the years.

There are still a handful of personalities who have managed to rise to the top of their game. Let’s take a quick look at some great names as well as what each unique personality brought to the pitch during his heyday.

Gary Stevens
Gary Stevens is perhaps most known for his performance when Brighton faced off against Manchester United in 1983. While an adept player before this competition, Stevens gave Brighton an extra bit of breathing room after scoring a goal with only three minutes remaining.

While his efforts failed to secure a win, Stevens is still remembered as being one of the most talented Brighton players.

Bobby Zamora

Lewis Dunk
