Brighton’s Premier League campaign begins with Manchester City

Talk about a “Welcome to the Premier League”. Brighton and Hove Albion have been handed one of the toughest starts to the season imaginable by taking on Manchester City at the Amex.

Pep Guardiola and his team of expensive superstars will visit Sussex by the Sea on August 12th with our first away game in the top flight coming at Leicester City a week later.

The eagerly anticipated games with Crystal Palace take place on Tuesday November 28th at the Amex and at Selhurst Park on Saturday April 14th.

That forms part of a bloody daunting run in which could be make or break if we are to survive more than one season in the top flight; that visit to delightful Croydon being followed by Spurs at home, Burnley away, Manchester United at home and Liverpool away for our final four fixtures.

Other highlights include Arsenal away on September 30th, West Ham away United on October 21st, Manchester United away on November 25th, a midweek visit to Wembley to take on Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday December 13th and a first ever trip to the Etihad Stadium on March 17th.

Two potential travel nightmares are there with Chelsea away on Boxing Day and a well thought out trip to Newcastle United on December 30th.
