Brighton and Hove Albion Twitter League Table - October 2017

Want to know which Brighton and Hove Albion players have Twitter and which ones to follow? Then look no further than the definitive WeAreBrighton.com Twitter League Table, where we rank the Albion's squad by followers, how many people they follow and how many Tweets they have sent.

It was a busy summer transfer window for the Albion which resulted in a mass of changes in our top 10 with no less than five new players, led by goalkeeper Tim Krul. The Dutch international goes straight in at number one with 362,018, a total only ever beaten by one Brighton player - Ali al-Habsi who had an astonishing 453,748 followers who were no doubt all glued to his every move at the Amex, which amounted to picking the ball out of the net three time.

Izzy Brown becomes the fourth man to have a six figure following after Krul, Duffy and Al-Habsi while Ezequiel Schelotto comes straight in at number four and Beram Kayal rounds off the top five just ahead of Maty Ryan.

Record signing Jose Izquierdo is the most frequent tweeter in the squad having racked up 14,902 tweets, which is even more than David Stockdale although we doubt very much that Izquierdo's involve arguing with pundits and popular fan sites about whether he was at fault for a goal that was conceded two months previously.

Liam Rosenior has quadrupled his number of followers since we last bothered to produce the list, largely through him branching out into more media work as his career winds down while Tomer Hemed has also doubled his thanks to his goal scoring and stamping exploits since the Albion entered the Premier League.
